One of the nifty things I actually use in Outlook to keep track of the Tasks people send me at work is to use the Flag field, using the different categories for different classes of request.

Using dates for pending reading would be a little over the top for my uses (though I'd use it if I had it)

I agree that using the KB structure to categorise articles would prove problematic.

Thanks for your continued work!!

Thanks for the heads up Thom. I'm really glad I mentioned "reminders" in the blog post and can now add this to the todo list without thinking it was purely added because I wanted it.

One thing I do do now, is to put articles I don't have time to read, but want to, asap, in a "Pending Reading" Knowledge Base. Then I shift them to their true home (KB.Folder) once read. This is only partially working for me though!

And everyone, yes do as Nick says. Maybe I should create a new Forum area for this?

"While we are talking dates one thing I’ve personally wanted in Surfulater is to be able to set Reminder or Follow Up dates in articles. Sometimes when I capture content I know I don’t have the time to read it then and there. The ability to pop-up a reminder in a week or so would be very handy here. Alas no one else has requested this yet, so it sits on the sidelines awaiting."
I think this is a great idea, and I will certainly request it on the forum.
I really love the new release so far, thanks for all your hard work.

I agree entirely. It would be a tragedy to see Surfulater turn into Bloatware like so many good apps have done. Speaking for myself, I think it has all the main functions it's ever going to need and only needs minor tweaks to make it perfect. I'd like to see more people post their way of using Surfulater on the forum, as not only yourself will benefit from this but everyone else will too. So how about it everyone....? Cheers, Nick
